# Interview surrounded by the concept: World Excellence #
What is excellence to you?
Excellence is an ever-changing goal that we set ourselves in our personal and work life. It’s how we excel, it’s how we become a better person by never giving up and striving to do better.
What do you consider to be a runway to your success?
I guess how I was brought up as It was installed in me at an early age, that no one was going to come knocking on my door, and that if you wanted something you went out and worked for it. Both of my parents had started their own business and I was made to get a Saturday job early on, which I ended up loving. I have never been afraid of hard work which I think helped and gave me that fire in my belly to succeed and make things happen.
What do you consider growth?
I think growth, is how we learn to deal and adapt to all the situations that life throws at us. I have definitely learned how to react differently to things, to how I would have done a few years ago.
What do you consider success?
Being able to sleep at night. Knowing that you do good to help others whenever you can.
What do you consider uniqueness?
I think we are all unique, it’s what makes us different. We all have special individual quality’s that we bring to life.
Who are the people and why that you could include in a section called “as done by the best”?
Chuck Feeny- A philanthropist who founded the Giving whilst Living foundation. He gave most of his billions away apart from a small bit, left for his wife and his retirement. All his donations were anonymous as well.
Ricky Gervais – Because he is funny, says what he wants to whoever he wants, and works very hard to help with animals.
Marcus Rashford- I am really not a football supporter but when I read about what this young man was doing, it made my heart glow. A boy who knew what it was like to grow up in poverty and now he is making lots of being a footballer he is putting his fame and money to good use. He helped campaign for free lunches for the most in need during covid and has just launched a book club to help children. Looks like this guy is on a good path.
What is your favorite habit that you could include in a second called ‘diamond pages’?
I am a list maker, when I have things to do I love to get through that list!
What is your favorite city and why?
I have so many it would be hard to just give one, so here are my top three. London for its diversity of fashion, nightlife restaurants, arts, and people. Vienna as it’s so organized and clean, it’s even a pleasure to get on a tube there. Athens for its history, restaurants, and friendly people.
What kind of landscape around the world would you be able to include in a bluegreen world?
I absolutely love the Maldives
What is your wish for the planet we live in?
I wish that no one would go, thirsty hungry, or be homeless. That no child, adult, or animal is abused. I wish for the people of our planet to become kinder, and more understanding of others and people’s situations. I wish that everyone would care more about the beautiful world we live in. Let’s face it it’s pretty cool and we have everything we need on it, so we need to look after it and be grateful for each day that we get to spend on it, as not all of us are so lucky.
